DESCRIPTION:Hello everyone\, \nRoute: https://www.strava.com/routes/3231067379139172618 \nThis Sunday\, we will try to evade the heat by heading towards Steven’s Canyon. We will approach the canyon by climbing Hwy 9 to the Redwood Gulch intersection\, safely descending Redwood Gulch\, then turning right at the base of RWG to head towards the bathrooms on the left side. We will stop at the bathroom at the base of Mt. Eden and Steven’s Canyon for water refill and bathroom stop. After this\, we will head up Steven’s Canyon back into Cupertino where we will traverse Cupertino and Saratoga neighborhoods on our way back to Mike’s Bike’s in Los Gatos. The route is 30 miles with 2\,500 ft of elevation gain. We will meet at Mike’s Bike’s in Los Gatos at 8:30 AM\, wheels roll at 8:35 AM sharp.\nI hope to see you there. \nRachel

We will approach Montebello by heading up Highway 9\, turning right on Pierce and descending Mount Eden to arrive at Steven’s Canyon. DESCRIPTION:Hello team\,\nThis Sunday\, let’s take advantage of the beautiful weather and summit Mt. Umunhum. The route from Mike’s Bikes in Los Gatos is 39.5 miles with 5\,000 ft of elevation gain. We will approach the summit of Mt. Umunhum by first climbing Hicks Rd from the north. There is a bathroom at the intersection of Mt. Umunhum Road and Hicks Rd\, but there is no water\, so please bring two bottles of water for this ride. After ascending to the top of Mt. Umunhum\, we will regroup at the Almaden parking lot where bathrooms and water fountains are available. From this point\, we will begin heading back to Mike’s Bikes. \nWe will meet at 8:30 am at Mike’s Bikes in Los Gatos and wheels will roll at 8:35 am. I hope to see you there!
