Hello team,
This Sunday, let’s take advantage of the beautiful weather and summit Mt. Umunhum. The route from Mike’s Bikes in Los Gatos is 39.5 miles with 5,000 ft of elevation gain. We will approach the summit of Mt. Umunhum by first climbing Hicks Rd from the north. There is a bathroom at the intersection of Mt. Umunhum Road and Hicks Rd, but there is no water, so please bring two bottles of water for this ride. After ascending to the top of Mt. Umunhum, we will regroup at the Almaden parking lot where bathrooms and water fountains are available. From this point, we will begin heading back to Mike’s Bikes.
