Trying something new: Mt. Madonna without going through Santa Cruz county. Instead, we come right back down Hecker Pass and loop back. If we have a gang, I’m thinking tempo for whoever is at the front of the paceline, whatever that means for you. Regroup at the big tree on top of Dirt Madona and somewhere reasonable after the descent.

– Rancho San Vicente (the MTB rest stop on McKean)
– Chicactac Park (Watsonville Rd just before Redwood Retreat)
– And there again if needed after we descend and loop around
– Bernal-Gulnac Ranch (in the maze after the Santa Teresa TT)
