Please join us for a longer Sunday ride than our usual 30 miler. The Sunday ride will meet at Mike’s Bikes in Los Gatos at 8:30 am, wheels roll at 8:35 am sharp. The ride will head north up Highway 9, then we will safely descend Redwood Gulch before heading towards Foothill Expressway via Stevens Canyon. Based on the desires of attendees, we can choose to head towards the end of Stevens Canyon by turning left at the bottom of RWG before heading towards Foothill Expressway. Our first bathroom/water refill stop will be relatively early in the ride, at mile ~11-15 (depending on if we choose to include some bonus miles/climbing to the end of Steven’s Canyon), we will stop at the base of Steven’s Canyon and Mt. Eden on the right hand side. Our next bathroom/water refill stop will be at the Portola Valley community center at mile ~31-35. After this second stop, we will begin heading back to Los Gatos.

This Sunday’s ride will cover 58 miles with 4000 ft of elevation gain. Please plan your water and nutrition accordingly. If you have not already done so, please familiarize yourself with the LGBRC ride protocol.
