A very classic road loop
The route
- Saratoga maze to Foothill
- Left on El Monte and through bicycle Valhalla
- Rest stop 1: Arastradero trailhead area
- Through Portola valley to OLH, regroup at the top
- Descend W OLH, hard left on La Honda
- Rest Stop 2: Store just before Sears Ranch
- Buy Snickers or whatever quickly and we head up Sears Ranch to the rest area
- Then a little more descending to Pescadero to W Alpine and redwoods and delightful climbing
- Restrooms at the top as needed
- Descend Page Mill to Moody (note this!) to Summerhill to the golf course loop (pleasant, skips lights)
- Then Foothill again to Stevens Canyon to the rest stop at the junction just before Mt Eden
- Rest stop 3: Right on Stevens Canyon before Mt Eden and first right
- Mt. Eden, right on Pierce, down 9, back to LG yay
