Hi Team,
We had a number of LGBRC racers at the first two cyclocross races of the season this past weekend with Justin Peck taking the Men’s A race win at both events! The two courses were completely different with Saturday’s VSRT in Livermore on a super dusty course with lots of loose cornering and Sunday’s Mare Island UCX on a course that was a combination of a pavement criterium and the twistiest possible grass single track.
Saturday’s results included Josiah Anderson in 12th in the Men’s B’s, Lexi in 3rd in the Women’s B, Ben in 4th in the Men’s 35+ A’s, and me in 8th in the Men’s A.
The next two weekends Justin will be racing at the World Cup U23 XC events in West Virginia and Mount Saint Anne. He races on Sunday and both events are on GCN. If you do not subscribe to GCN it is $8.99 for a month and you can watch a number of pro MTB, road, and cyclocross events. The link to Justin’s West Virginia event is below. Look for the skinny guy in USA Cycling kit lined up at the back due to his low number of UCI points!
