Saturday Ride 4/30 Peet’s Pickup; Montebello, Redwood Gulch

For this ride, we have two meeting points: Los Gatos Roasting Company and Peet’s Cupertino. This allows for convenience of more northerly members. 

Should be a fun spirited ride and perfect weather to see who is going to give it a go on Montebello for a sub 30 min.  Once you have expended all of your glycogen and set yourself a new FTP, why not empty your newly built up lactate on Redwood Gulch!.   

Regroups and Rest Stops

This is a short enough ride from Peet’s where there will be no water stops along the way so plan accordingly. There may be a water source at the start of Stevens Canyon (but not confirmed). 

  1. Top of Montebello (toast to sub 30 min)

  2. Bottom of Montebello
  3. Intersection of Redwood Gulch and HWY 9 (before you descend).
When and Where: Start either at LGCRC at 8:30am (and ride to Peet’s), or Peet’s at 9:30am.
